A Healing Necklace of Well-Being
The first piece of healing jewellery I made was for my mother. She desired a pendant necklace so we combined healing crystals with her favorite stones to create a beautiful necklace of well-being consisting of Hematite, Snowflake Obsidian, Malachite, Moonstone, Ocean Jasper and Swarovski Crystal. The reflected light from the Swarovski Crystal really made the stones come alive. This necklace delighted my mother and helped to ease her digestive problems and arthritis.

A Traveler’s Bracelet
My mother soon desired another piece of jewellery for an upcoming journey so I made her a traveler’s bracelet from Carnelian and other stones. She is now addicted to Carnelian and has to wear it every day! Carnelian is a very underestimated stone that has helped many people boost their spirits and change their lives.

Carnelian - SiO2+(Fe,O,OH)
In the Middle Ages, Carnelian was used to staunch the blood and calm anger. The Egyptians used it as a protective stone for the dead.
Mental Attributes - Courage, emotionally uplifting, energizing.
Physical Attributes - works with the organs to stimulate the absorption of vitamins, nutrients and minerals in the small intestine. Alleviates rheumatism, arthritis and stimulates the metabolism.
Chakra – Associated with the base/sacral chakra.

Making Jewellery
When I create my jewellery I usually work with five to ten different stones. This enables me to help the whole person rather than to focus on specific symptoms. I’m always surprised how each piece turns out because the picture in my head is always different than the finished piece. I have been told that my pieces are so much more powerful than store bought healing jewellery and that comment really made my day! Perhaps it’s due to the healing energy I put into their creation and the fact that they are created specifically for each client.

Why Psychics Burn Out & Other Interesting Facts

Email Questions from New Clients:

"How are you able to channel our energy when all the information you get about us is our email address? Do you need more details?"

"Is this reading unique to me or is it computer generated, or from a book?"

My Response:

It is an interesting thing, how energy works, but I like to compare it to radio waves; we can't see them, but they work! I don't like to get more details before a reading because I want it to be pure and unclouded with extraneous information. It's easier, the first time I read for someone, to work solely from their first name, so that I can focus on their spirit/energy/soul without any distractions from the so called 'real world' of facts and figures.

My soul readings are done by tapping into your soul's energy and then looking into past and future energetic possibilities as well. I usually suggest crystals that you can work with and sometimes affirmations and other healing exercises. I will also be sending you (via email) samples of the oracle cards that I pull for your reading (all drawn by me, and from the four different oracle card decks that I have created.) I will also include some factual information about the stones and the cards as well, so that you can continue to work with them on your own after the reading.

Psychic Burnout:

I am discovering, after chatting with other professional psychics, mediums and healers that the burn out rate is pretty high amongst psychics, due to clients becoming overly reliant and dependent upon their readers, and because of sheer exhaustion and over work!

I can sense a person's energy during their reading and if I feel they have a tendency for giving away their power I will discourage this kind of co-dependency from the beginning. This is also why I suggest healing exercises and tools, individually designed for each client, to enable them to work on their own, without my help, and in doing so learn how to empower and develop their own intuition and self healing capabilities.

Restoring Your Energy:

I also learned a technique from James Van Praagh's book "Ghosts Among Us" that he learned from psychic healer, Michael Tamura, who suggests that "when we give our energy to others, we have to get it back; otherwise we eventually feel depleted...(and he suggests that after giving a reading) I meditate on the person and visualize my own energy leaving him or her and returning to me." I use this technique after each reading, and this definitely helps restore my energy so I don't get depleted while doing this kind of work.

It sounds like you are experiencing something very positive and that is always a good thing :) Your 'energy form' experience sounds like dreams I have also experienced!

I have learned to trust what I see with my inner eyes, based upon practice and experience - this builds trust - but it wasn't easy! I trust what I see, because I have had confirmation from others, but I also have had confirmation in my own life. I know that feelings are key, and what is important is learning to trust what we feel, especially in regards to our own personal safety and well-being.

I got started on a serious level by just being ready and asking the universe for guidance, and being open to whatever presented itself to me. I have been presented with spiritual guidance from friends who introduced me to spiritual living through food, through music, through living spiritually; in so many different ways. When I decided that I wanted to get really serious is when I just happened upon a psychic-medium teacher who taught a group of us on a weekly basis about how to do psychic-mediumship readings. Everyone's path is different, so don't follow any one's else path but your own; listen to your heart and your soul and trust in your own guidance above all.

It's Not So Easy
As I read over my response, it just feels so trite and short, but as most of you already know, the really good stuff is hard to put into words - I know exactly what Dana is going through, and I've lived through it myself, but it takes time to develop trust and faith in yourself, some people take longer than others, but if you can keep a hold of that still small flame that burns deep within you, and keep the faith alive, I know you will find a way to trust in yourself, and in doing so, connect with the Divine, the Way, the Path, the truth that you so long to live and be.

How To Get Ready For Your Soul Reading

Here are a few suggestions to help you prepare for your reading so that you can have the best experience possible.

Be Prepared

The clearer your questions are, the clearer my responses will be and I would definitely advise you to check out my areas of specialty beforehand. If one or more of these tools or techniques appeals to you please let me know. Also, be sure and take a look at these soul reading samples to see if my style of reading fits your needs. I want to make sure we’re a good fit before we begin. Most people find the experience of getting a reading to be fun, inspirational and healing.

Plan on receiving an excellent reading

If this is your first reading, or you're feeling unsure or skeptical please try and keep an open mind so that the reading can take effect, both consciously and subconsciously, in direct and subtle ways. After a few days, you can question and analyze your reading from a more intellectual point of view.

Keep an open mind and heart

Sometimes a client can be so resistant to an answer that they didn’t want to hear, such as, “Is this person my soulmate and will I be with them forever?” that they will not benefit from the overall message of the reading. Over time, the big picture will start to become more clear and you may discover that you already have your answer.

Will I be able to ask questions about past, present and future issues?

Yes you can, but my readings are also intended to be therapeutic and healing based. If you are looking for more of a 'fortune teller' or ‘entertainment style’ reading I can always direct you towards someone else. Ultimately the goal of a soul reading is to encourage you to go more deeply within yourself, so that you can begin making the changes necessary to lead a fulfilling and exceptional life.

How do you read cards if the client isn't handling them?

I don't read cards like a tarot reader does. I use the cards as a visual affirmation to confirm the insights I receive during the reading and I don't look at the cards until after the reading is finished. During the reading, I hold my hand over the card to sense it's energy and this usually confirms what I'm picking up about that person's situation/question/issue during the reading. (See the photo below.)

The artwork (I only work with oracle cards of my own creation) is meant to expand the reading into the visual realms, because I find that people resonate with artistic beauty on a whole different level than the written word. Because I have always been an artist I truly and deeply believe in the healing power of art.

The real work has just begun

During a reading you will often receive confirmation about something that you already know and this is wonderful, because it's Spirit’s way of giving you the thumbs up. Sometimes you will receive information that may throw you for a loop, and in that case it's best to give it some time. Very often clients will write to me a month later telling me that their reading finally makes sense. But information alone is not the sole purpose of my readings. My intuitive skills are just a diving board, and a preparation, encouraging you to take the plunge so that you can delve more deeply into the heart of things. Once you are aware of what you are dealing with, you can then move forward and actually do something about it.

What Is A Soul Reading?

As a soul reader and spiritual guide, I am always being asked what it is that I do exactly! My friend Donnaleigh asked me this morning: "What is a soul reading? People are using that phrase now, and in my mind I picture it as an energy reading and a whole life synopsis rather than a psychic reading that pertains to specific questions. What is your sense?"

So I came up with a detailed response to her question and thought I would post it here to give folks a better idea of what I mean by a soul reading.

What is a soul reading?

A soul reading is similar to a psychic reading, but more in-depth. Yes, it involves prophecy, but it also involves healing, inspiration and practical exercises designed to jump start the process of your soul's transformation by giving you the tools necessary for your journey.

I begin each soul reading by taking a look, with the use of my third eye or inner vision, at your overall energy state and your chakras along with your soul's Divine essence - this is the part of you that never dies.

Reading soul energy over a distance actually gives much better results, based upon the techniques that I employ. It allows me to focus my full attention upon your soul's energy, and not be distracted by your feelings or reactions. I can still sense if you are nervous, unfocused, or even skeptical, but because you are not directly in front of me, it will not distract me from reading your energy.

Preparation

I meditate and do energy work and yoga for up to an hour before and after each reading in order to prepare for a session and don't forget the follow-up email support that goes along with each reading! So consider when you’re booking a reading, that it's approximately a 2 hour minimum commitment of my time.
