Here is a sampling of some of my recent paintings and sketches in-progress of goddess and heroines.  When they are finished I will share them first with Museletter subscribers who have the first option to buy them. After two weeks I'll list them as prints, cards  and originals in my shop. My reference book for these paintings is The Book of Goddesses & Heroines by Patricia Monaghan. Goddess LUV

Goddesses from my book

Goddess Luv!!! I painted over 36 goddesses during a month of channeling the moon when it was in each sign of the zodiac. I also wrote poetry and researched goddess myths for my book because at that time it was mainly gods that were being talked about in astrology and I wanted to express the Divine Feminine… I’ve never shown these paintings before anywhere so this is a first… at the time when I wrote this I didn’t even have a website in 1996… My book can be purchased in my Etsy shop at www.creativesoulguidance.etsy.com

Goddess Zodiac Book by Kathy Crabbe

I channeled the Zodiac signs as Goddess paintings for my book back in 1996 then interviewed Etsy artists based on their sign and how that influenced their art …i incl goddess poetry based on their myths and altar suggestions to create your own new moon circle…all paintings were created when the moon was in a particular zodiac sign…it took me a month but OH what a DIVINE trip that was ♥♡♥…avail. in my etsy shop as a PDF in color of course at www.creativesoulguidance.etsy.com

I'm Published in Creative Cronies Astrological Diary & Moon Calendar

I'm very pleased to announce that the Creative Cronies Southern Hemisphere 2016 Moon Calendar Astrological Diary has published five of my paintings! The wonderful thing is that these Cronies PAY their artists and they're super nice to boot!  The Creative Cronies are Minerva, Robyn and Arafelle. Minerva and Arafelle are astrologers  who live on co-operatively owned land in the Far North of New Zealand and Robyn administrates and distributes the Calendar. 2016 marks their 25th year of production.

Saying goodbye to my babies (silk paintings that is!)

I'm letting my babies go! Mystic Arts Gallery in Laguna Beach will be exhibiting 13 of my LuLu in Laguna original silks this summer. These are my TOP TOP favorites; paintings I've held onto since the '90's when I first painted them in Laguna Beach. I've managed to sell 1,000's of prints from them - thank you all! I also am not able to get my favorite picture frames anymore  which I lovingly handpaint to match the originals. My silk paintings are no longer babies anymore - they are teens (!) but they are finally leaving the nest and I am sad (and happy); perhaps bittersweet is the word?
