What is a Crone?
Darkness is the Crone-Wise path; it is the third and final phase of life: maiden, mother, crone...and after that death, the ultimate darkness and mystery, the void. We are Crone because we can no longer bring life into this world, so we birth ourselves into this new stage of life, like a second puberty, so transformative.

In these paintings I combine unconventional methods like non dominant hand drawing, random word collage, and dreams to help me lose my bearing and move forward with only a glimmer of faerie dust to lead the way.
