Early 2022 Astro Tips

New Moon in Aquarius - January 31 at 9:46 PM PST
Yes, it does feel like we’re in a holding pattern and yes, patience is required right now esp. with Merc Retro (but just until Feb. 4) . This New Moon will help us seed new ideas but with a square to Uranus, and a few days later the Sun conjoining Saturn on Feb. 4 please temper that revolutionary urge with some common sense and hard work so that those ideas will bear fruit when ready.

This is a once-in-a-black moon event, since it’s the second New Moon of the month which is unusual ‘cause it only happens once every few years. The New Moon is also in Perigee meaning it’s as close to Earth as it can be so keep your eyes peeled for some added night sky beauty and potency of emotion.

Mercury Retrograde - hold onto your hats moon musers, it’s happening again and runs from Jan. 14 - Feb. 3. Expect miscommunications, computer issues and reroutes, perhaps finding unexpected purpose in thoughts gone wild - keep looking, the treasures are out there.

Mercury stations squaring Uranus and conjuncting Saturn - may be feelings of breakdown amidst the continuing chaos of Covid. Helping change our perceptions through cognitive dissonance, mechanical and technical difficulties. Insight into inequality via this chaos giving us a chance to see what really needs to change. Mars enters Sagittarius - Prepare to kick start 2022 in competence and with forgiveness.

In 2022 Pluto is in Capricorn and finally leaves in 2023 - in 2022 we are in the final transition phase, a time to heal and grow in this magickal time of darkness.

in 2022 Saturn is in Aquarius along with Uranus in Taurus - Time to grow new roots, reorganize and liberate.
