Lefty Series (2000-2007)

In 2000 I was bored and blocked creatively so I switched to my left hand. This awakened my intuitive right brain in a more holistic way and I became a soul reader. I dived in out of my comfort zone and got involved in lots of fun, soulful projects and in the process got BRAVER than i ever imagined possible. In 2008 I created a Lefty Oracle Deck for giving soul readings.

I help people understand that non dominant hand drawing can awaken their intuition so they can exist from a deeper, more aware place. The deck is also collaborative: the Leftys want to engage people on many levels through sacred play.

The Leftys get around. They have been invited onstage with Michelle Shocked in Hollywood for International Women’s Day; have appeared in a feminist art exhibit and at a writer’s group I founded where people posed as their favorite Lefty so I could snap a polaroid that they then signed with their non dominant hand. They’ve appeared at a Red Hat Group in Laguna Beach and have been published in the We’Moon Datebook and they show up in my eclass Awaken Your Divine Feminine Soul at Wise Woman University. They have appeared in many of my zines that have been exhibited and archived at various places such as the San Diego Women’s History Museum.

In 2008 I created the Lefty Oracle Deck along with a 92 page Guidebook to help you break through creative blocks, identify your gifts and empower your intuition so you can move forward in a playful and profoundly life changing way.
