Museletter: Pisces New Moon Inspiration

Pisces. Watercolor on board, 8 x 10 inches © 2010 by Kathy Crabbe. New Moon in Pisces March 4, 2011 12:46 pm pst

This month the new moon enters the sign of Pisces, a mutable water sign. Piscean types are often beyond definition and a wee bit hard to pin down! Some keywords for Pisces are “I believe”, compassionate, intuitive, artistic, introspective and friendly. I love being amidst Piscean energy because it’s like swimming in a world without boundaries - so freeing! The shadow side of Pisces relates to forgetfulness, martyrdom, melancholy and feeling misunderstood. Pisces also relates to the feet so next time you visit your favorite Pisces check out their shoe collection, I bet you’ll be impressed!

More Pisces Inspiration plus in-depth conversation and support is offered for FREE in my Creative Soul Circle.

~ It’s like Facebook for Soul SiStars ~ power in numbers SiStars! ~

So, on March 4, 2011 when the New Moon enters Pisces get ready to:

- Take time for dreams, intuitive play, artistic pursuits and escapism - Get romantic and get spoiled - Really listen and empathize with a friend’s woes - Meditate, relax, recharge and space out! More About The Lunar Cycles

The new moon is the perfect time of the month to plant seeds of intention for the month ahead. It is a time of trust, of beginnings and of letting go into intuition. The new moon lies in darkness, not yet reflecting the light of the sun, so our intentions may not yet be fully revealed to us and therefore trust is necessary - trust and faith that your newly planted seeds are indeed germinating beneath ground.

Allow the moon maiden/mother/crone to be your touchstone for balance, serenity and divine knowing. Let her cool, pale fingers touch your spirit as your soul flows knowingly, calmly, and with strength into divine being-ness. Allow her to be your support system to keep you pure, whole, holy and connected with your soul’s true purpose. Bless her as you bless yourself, for truly, we are all One.

The moon changes signs approximately every 2 ½ days, going through all twelve signs of the Zodiac every 29 ½ days. The sign that the moon is in reflects qualities of your inner self and being-ness. Each month there is at least one new moon that will rise at sunrise and set at sunset. Astrologically speaking this means that the sun and the moon are in conjunction.

A New Moon in Pisces Exercise

As a creative being (and an artist, yes you!) you can make a difference!

To begin, I want you to come up with three ways that expressing yourself creatively could make a difference in your life.

1. 2. 3.

Now, name three more ways that being creative could influence your community.

1. 2. 3.

What intention could you set to make a creative difference in your life this month? It can be something that you are already doing but would like to talk about or relate to in an empowering way, or it can be something new that you want to try.

1.

What intention could you set to make a creative difference in your community this month?

1. aquamarine sphereA Message From Aquamarine

Pisces needs freedom to dream. What dreams are you holding onto? What dreams are buried within your soul? Let them out and onto paper, even if you’re unsure and feeling scared. Know that love that awaits you. Be brave.

What do your dreams look like, feel like, taste like, sound like? Start out by writing down some keywords to get your juices flowing and then allow them to flow into a river as your dreams start to flow out of you.

Try sleeping with an aquamarine or a picture of one under your pillow at night and make sure to request dreams of intention, and dreams of happiness and love. Allow visions to flow through you while sleeping and be ready with pen and paper to record them when you awaken.

My Version of Pisces

“Guess Poet” is part of a series of left-handed drawings I created over a period of five years. These drawings were later turned into an oracle card deck that I use for soul readings.

Guess Poet. Watercolor on paper, 8 x 10 inches © 2010 by Kathy Crabbe

Guess Poet encourages all of us to water our souls by closing our eyes and gazing within our soul’s interior. What do you see, or better yet, what do you feel? Is there anyone else there with you? If you start to feel sleepy and want to wake up, make sure to have a glass of water handy. Now, open your eyes and ask yourself, “What parts of this inner vision do I see around me?” Explain.

If you can see your inner vision expressed in the outer world, congratulations! If not, you need a warm fuzzy hug and then I have a question for you, “How can you bring this vision into reality?” Now, make a wish list of at least three things you would like to express. Next, turn those three things into intentions knowing this is something you will put into play in the month ahead.

Museletter: Aquarius New Moon Musings

New Moon In AquariusFebruary 2, 2011 6:31 pm pst

This month’s New Moon is in the sign of Aquarius, a fixed air sign. You know the type…usually on the outer edge of everything peering in, or lost in space, or surrounded by a large group of friends, but not really close to any of them.

Aquarians are known for their independence, individuality and detachment. Their shadow side comes out in contrariness, rebellion and emotional unavailability.

Moon in Aquarius calls us to the circle, collaboration and collectivization. We recognize that what one does effects us all. We tend the web of community as natural team-builders.

My version of Aquarius

Abraxia is part of a series of left handed drawings I created over a period of five years. To me she represents the essence of Aquarius – independent, unusual, and “Nut-like” – as in the Egyptian Goddess Nut, ruler of the night sky. It’s a good idea to keep Abraxia in front of you as you prepare to answer her questions, and yes, she does like an audience although she may not admit it! So keep a pen and paper handy to take notes starting off with how she makes you feel – first impressions are best.

Abraxia’s Questions:

When have you gone out on a limb recently and how did it feel?

Choose a symbol to represent how that feels.

As you sit and ponder your New Moon intentions (you have written them out, haven’t you?!) ask yourself what first step you could take that would satisfy that symbol you’ve just come up with for yourself.

Describe that first step in detail.

Now, to take this exercise even further I’m going to ask you to be very Aquarian with your plan and to share it with the world-at-large or at least with your friends so that we can all learn from you. How will you do this? How does this idea make you feel?

An Abraxian Exercise

Go outside (especially at sunset) and wave your arms in the air as you let your fingers tingle and shimmy. You are Goddess Divine upholding the sky. Repeat 3 times after me:

“I AM GODDESS DIVINE” “I AM GODDESS DIVINE” “I AM GODDESS DIVINE”

Now, get out there and save the world, as only you can!

Aquarian Gemstone Messages

A Message from Opal:

Let yourself be colorful in a subtle way. Then one day surprise yourself by doing something wildly colorful, no holds barred – let your inner imp out to play and feel the freedom that accompanies your decision.

Now congratulate yourself on being brave and remember you can always switch gears and tone things down at any time, especially if you start to get carried away (having too much fun!)

A Message from Obsidian:

Don’t be afraid to take a chance on love – you’re worth it!

Sparkly Blessings to All!

Kathy is currently teaching a 4 week (1 lunar cycle) eCourse called Awaken Your Divine Feminine Soul” in her private  forum site, The Creative Soul Circle. “I hope this course inspires you to discover and express your passionate, intuitive selves. As women I believe the moon can help guide and challenge us to know our instinctual, emotional self in a balanced, harmonious and soulful way. Isn’t it time you awakened the divine feminine within yourself?”

Introducing The Moon Muses

The Moon Muses are intuitive guides and question askers that offer insight and wisdom along with exercises to heal and inspire you. They are creative leap takers forming a glowing moonlit bridge between your rational self and your higher self, a self that dwells in pure intuition, clairvoyance (clear seeing), meditative reflection and dreaming. This month you will meet a Gemstone Muse, Pink Jasper and Alice, a Lefty Oracle Muse. I encourage all of you to create a Moon Musing Journal to record your monthly moon explorations (more about this in my eCourse, Awaken the Divine Feminine).

Alice. Watercolor on paper, 8 x 10 inches. © 2010 by Kathy V. Crabbe

My Version of Virgo: Alice Lives Here

“Alice” is part of a series of 500 or so left-handed (my non-dominant hand!) drawings I created over a period of five years. These drawings were later turned into an oracle card deck that I use for giving Soul Readings.

Alice has appeared to remind all of us that if you’re happy, you’re on track!

So remember: Now is a good time to start tracking your progress to see how far you’ve come. One way is by writing down your dreams and keeping a dream journal to keep track of which dreams have manifested in the real world and which haven’t. Try creating some colorful charts to organize things in a detailed way, such as tracking your dreams according to the moon and then looking back to see which moon phase and sign had the most effect upon your dreams.

A Dream Visioning Exercise

1. Keep track of your dreams this month by starting a dream journal to take note of the moon phases, moon and sun signs, your menstrual cycle, the day of the week, your moods and any other interesting tidbits of information that may be influencing your dreams.

2. How is your waking life influencing your dreaming world? Can you spot any connections that may be influencing your dreams?

3. Take note of your favorite, most wondrous dreamscape in the coming month.

4. If you could request dream guidance what would you like to know?

5. How have your dreams guided you in the past and have you ever connected with your spirit guides or ancestors in your dreams, and if so what happened?

Creative Prompt

Create a simple hanging mobile of your favorite dreamscape by cutting out images and words to represent your vision. Hang it somewhere prominent in your home and see what happens, making sure to take note of it in your Dream Journal.

Pink Jasper

A Message from Pink Jasper – Earth Momma!

You community needs you, no matter how large or how small your contribution! Your insight and input are invaluable and need to be shared. Take some time to journal about the different ways you could share your insights with your community in an inspired way. And yes, virtual communities count too, but Virgo being an Earth sign really wants you to get your hands dirty with the real stuff, not just virtual dirt so this means taking action in your surrounding community as well!

Action Hero Time

Take a moment to envision yourself inspiring, healing, and organizing others in your community. Pretend you are an action hero – who are you? Feel free to make up a name for yourself based upon your super-human powers or borrow a name from a well-known action figure.

Reserve a few pages in your journal to express yourself by describing your action hero look, your outfit, your special powers and all the amazing things that have made you the super special action hero that you truly are.

Each month we can tune into her cycles to keep ourselves on track. At the new moon we plant our intentions for the month ahead, at the full moon we watch them flower, and at the waning moon we release and share our wisdom with the world. As women we are naturally able to resonate with these cycles in deep and meaningful ways.”

Leo Gemstone Ruby Lingham

A Message from Ruby

Sometimes words just aren’t enough to express the wisdom of the heart so take a moment to let her ruby redness fill your soul, your heart and your mind with shining, luscious bounty.

Now, just sit and absorb, feel and allow yourself to receive, just receive and with thanks and gratitude to the Divine, feel yourself blessed.

How are you feeling now? Happy? Sad? Alone? Fulfilled? If you’re feeling lonely and would like to share your heart with someone special then you will be able to do just that – first trust, and then they will appear.

Heart Affirmation:

I ____________________, am fulfilled and happy as I am right now, in this moment.

Each day I share my best qualities with others, which are: _________________________ and I am open to receiving and giving love.

My heart is full. Any sadness and anger I might be feeling are released as I write down these words and let them go.

I _________________________, release my feelings _____________________ so that I may be fully heart-present in this very moment.

If you’re still feeling heart-sad then request help and guidance from your Guides and your Higher Power allowing your burdens to be lightened and your cares and concerns acknowledged, accepted and then released.

So remember:

Stand Tall, you are a sunflower today as the New Moon enters Leo.

For today you are a Sexy Sunflower and you will laugh and love and shine your rays into the darkness so that you can see into all corners of the earth. Today you will dance the Dance of the Sunflower and create your world in colors of your own choosing for Love is your Guide.

Aquarius Full Moon Musings

Full Moon In Aquarius – July 25, 2010.

This month’s Full Moon is in the sign of Aquarius, a fixed air sign.

Moon in Aquarius calls us to the circle, away from private concerns and intimacy reminding us of the sacredness of collaboration. We become deeply aware that what affects one, affects us all. It’s time to tend the web of community, to network, review our philosophy and find a way to walk our talk.

More Aquarian Tidbits Aquarius – Water bearer Time of Year – Winter, Imbolc Quality – Fixed Element – Air Ruler – Uranus Anatomy – Bloodstream, circulation, shins, ankles Natural sign of – 11th house Opposite sign – Leo Color – Electric blue, turquoise, silver Gemstone – Obsidian, opal, sapphire Tarot card – The star Goddesses – Feng P’O P’O, Freya, Ix Chel, Nut, Tien-Mu

More About The Moon Phases

The Full Moon invites us to peer deeply into our emotional, intuitive selves as we direct our attention to manifesting the hopes, wishes and dreams that were seeded at the New Moon.

The Moon changes signs approximately every 2 ½ days, going through all twelve signs of the Zodiac every 29 ½ days. The sign that the Moon is in reflects qualities of your inner self and being-ness.

Each month there is at least one Full Moon that will rise at sunset and set at sunrise and is visible all night long from moonrise to moonset. Astrologically speaking this means that the Sun and the Moon are in opposition (opposite each other in the sky and in opposite signs of the zodiac.)

Learning to work in concert with the phases of the Moon is an excellent way to add structure to your life because you are not only connecting with Mother Nature through the Moon’s reflection of the Sun and the Earth, but with human nature and especially with feminine nature.

Aquarian Full Moon Musings

In honour of this month’s Full Moon in Aquarius I am going to guide you through an intuitive, healing, creative exploration into body, mind and soul so that together, we can shift, transform and heal each other and the planet during this time of great change and awakening.

Aquarian energy can be felt by tuning into the energy of the Full Moon that is passing through the astrological sign of Aquarius from July 25 – July 28, 2010.

Independence, detachment, contrariness, outsider perspectives, artistic ability, humane and altruistic behaviour are all key Aquarian concepts that describe energy accessible to all of us right now.

One of my favorite ways to tap into these lunar energies is by attuning to gemstones and crystals, such as the Aquarian ruled gemstone, Sapphire. I begin by holding a small Sapphire in my left hand as I place it on my third eye along with a little help from a double terminated, Isis Lithium Quartz Crystal that I place at my feet while meditating. If you don’t have access to these stones you can work with their images instead.

A Sapphire Meditation

Allow your body to flood with joyful feelings of being-ness as you ask your heart to expand, expand, expand, inviting warmth and happiness into your energy field. Let steep for a few minutes and then say aloud:

“Today I reward myself with happiness.”

Now, envision an image that brings you sheer joy.

Next, you will focus your attention upon two Aquarian images, one is pictured below and the other at the very beginning of this article. Allow yourself to stretch, stretch, stretch – really push yourself! You are entering another world, yet you will remain connected with this one by placing your hand over your heart to feel your heart beating.

This kind of consciously aware being-ness is absolutely essential as you enter into the whole new world that we are creating right now as a society.

Now, take another moment to ask yourself:

“ Am I happy?”

“ What can you, the Aquarius Moon, teach me?”

Next, ask yourself what steps you could take to help yourself.  List three. Be concrete, realistic and include a timeline.

1.

2.

3.

List three obstacles that you might face.

1.

2.

3.

Good for you! You’ve stretched, stretched, stretched – I can feel it! So now it’s time to reward yourself. How will you reward yourself for each step you have taken?

1.

2.

3.

Sparkly Blessings to All for sharing this Aquarian Full Moon with me, I bless and surround you with joy, fulfillment and magic.
