If ever I feel freaked what do I do? As a crone I of course call upon a Crone Goddess, such as Hecate for protection and to help me clear and cleanse my space. This is powerful magick. I know and respect that and I don't mess around. I await any visions and guidance or signs and I pay attention. When Hecate's work is done I thank Her and bid Her farewell.
Side Note: It's a bit intense to work with Hecate (this was my first time) and things really did amplify but I felt much better armed with Her inky black/starry night protective cloak around me.
