Inspired by this juicy Full Moon in Sag I got my groove back (finally) and painted this Moon Goddess Purple Kat Luv. The words that randomly appeared came from "Soul's Perfection" by Sylvia Browne (a book that connects me with my blood mother). "Look at you" are the words that appeared. What does this mean for you? That's what I find interesting...

Hecate's Magick #CroneClub

If ever I feel freaked what do I do?  As a crone I of course call upon a Crone Goddess, such as Hecate for protection and to help me clear and cleanse my space. This is powerful magick. I know and respect that and I don't mess around. I await any visions and guidance or signs and I pay attention. When Hecate's work is done I thank Her and bid Her farewell.

Side Note: It's a bit intense to work with Hecate (this was my first time) and things really did amplify but I felt much better armed with Her inky black/starry night protective cloak around me.

Take a Chance this Sagittarius Full Moon

It's almost the Full Moon in Sagittarius and in the spirit of that fiery, Amazonian Goddess, Artemis, ruler of Sag I will take a chance and share my feelings below.  Delve more deeply into the energy at hand by communing with Artemis plus some Lefty Oracle guidance to help bring all your dreams to fruition because that's what Full Moon's are for no matter how challenging it may be.

Full Moon Musings in Sagittarius

To begin I go into trance as a I sit within my sacred, protected circle and I pull a Lefty Oracle card and ask the question: "How can I help others and myself this Full Moon?" This is what comes to me verbatim (unedited) as I write it down.

Sometimes I find words more and more circuitous and i ask myself, "Do I have any worthwhile words to share?" I've been working with Goddess Hecate lately and all the freezers around me aren't working. Hmmm...frozen emotions? Unbroken emotions ...feelings emerging, feelings breaking out...words...just words, that don't capture what I'm feeling because most often I don't want to share my feelings. They are private. But here in this space I want to be of service so I share what I can with you.

When life hands you razor blades, what do you do? I make art, of course and I slice away unwanted and un-needed elements, to get down to bone...truths, or at least happy putty. (At this point, I'm debating whether to share any of this!)

But I will ask, that you find a friend you can trust and open your heart, in whatever way you can. If you're alone, share your heart with the trees, online, on paper, with your gods. I share mine every day by painting my Crone Club Charms and then sharing my favorites and a few words with my Crone Club. This brings me immense happiness, pleasure and joy, like nothing else.

If this card appears in a reading expect the unexpected! There is a trickster in your midst. Maybe it’s you? In my own life I do my best to see negative, challenging experiences on a deeper level and I ask questions, such as, “What is the teaching in this? What is being mirrored back to me about myself? What changes need to happen now?”

Sagittarius Goddess ~ Artemis*

Artemis, Artemis,
Goddess of the wood
You are bows and arrows, death and birth
Midnight revels and pregnant mirth.
Wild woman, child, hunter of beast,
We find our true self when we dance at your feast.

Artemis is the virgin moon-goddess roaming the forest with her band of nymphs, bearing the bow and quiver, avoiding men and killing any male who looks upon her. She was also known as the many-breasted Artemis of Ephesus, a symbol of fecundity. As the warlike Artemis she is said to have been the special goddess of the Amazons.

I Paint Sagittarius

Channeling Sagittarian energy allowed me to trust in life and to leap before looking knowing that I am safe. When I seek truth I know Sag energy.  Sag teaches us how to uplift our spirit, teach others, and carry the truth within opening us all to other realities.  We must heal the artist, the creator, and the dreamer within. To create is to release ourselves into the flow of life. We trust that in freely expressing ourselves that we are doing it for everyone, because we realize that each one of us is a Creator.

The Quest Begins:

- Explore worlds without maps
- Quest!
- Be outrageous
- Look to the future
- Seek freedom from all oppression

Often these days I feel the need for words less and less. Instead I speak in symbols, abstractions,  jagged colors, half sentences. This is enough. What about for you?

One golden shoulder bare #CroneClub

I snip out random words without looking from several precious books for these Crone Club Charms. Last night I added a new book to the mix; one that my mom had given me by Alice Munro (a Canadian author of short stories) called "The Moons of Jupiter" because I wanted to bring my mom into the conversation and paint something channeled through her, so to speak.
