Death Empath, Ancestral Readings + Reincarnation

Thank you to everyone for your condolences over the death of my beloved big, black, sweet dog, Abby. Out of this came the discovery of The Rainbow Bridge poem and discovering how misery joins us together as I learned that many of you are also mourning a beloved pet.

Kathy-Crabbe-and-her-Girls

Since I was a little girl I've believed in reincarnation. In this work I do traversing Otherworlds and connecting with souls who have passed over, I find my beliefs being reinforced again and again: our souls live on. This is a comfort to the grieving heart.

As I age (I just turned 55 on September 7) I face the loss of loved ones and I know that many of you are in the same boat. You may be curious or reluctant to explore the meaning of death and I am too but it can be so gratifying to try. Many years ago I consulted the astrologer, Deva Green and she said to me: "You can help people access the deeper truth of what reincarnation is - help people experience the darkness by exposing the limitations that are holding you there and grounding them in spiritual process." So this is what I strive to do and truly, I feel so blessed and honoured to be able to serve humanity in this way.

Since we're in the month of October, there is no better time for us to explore and make connections with Otherworlds, to ease our hearts and minds. If you want to make a deeper connection I offer soul readings, past life readings and ancestor/spirit guide readings here.

Sparkly Blessings and Much Love,

Ancestral Readings

On Reincarnation, Mediumship and Channeling

Edgar Cayce on Reincarnation by Noel Langley"Often I have fallen far short in presenting myself as a living sacrifice for whatever source might manifest through me. In that sense, I suppose I may be called a medium.  But I hope I may be, rather, a channel through which blessings may come to many, rather than a medium through which any force might manifest. For if it is of God, it must be good. Or, if it is good, it must come from the All-Good, or God. This good, I trust, is the type of psychic phenomena manifesting through me."  ~ Edgar Cayce on Reincarnation

I've been reading Edgar Cayce's book on reincarnation and I agree with the passage above.  I find that through channeling I can be of greater service than through mediumship, but I didn't exactly know why until now. I did realize that by offering soul readings (ie. channeling) that I was providing guidance and insight rather than 'proving' the existence of life after death.  Don't get me wrong, I do find mediumship to be absolutely amazing and helpful, but a mediumship reading tends to be either 'right or wrong' in the eyes of the receiver (the client) especially the way I work, in that I ask the client to provide me with the first name of the ancestor they want me to connect with. As a medium, I either connect with their ancestor or I don't whereas with a soul reading, any information that comes through can be of benefit - does that make any sense?

I also feel connected with Edgar Cayce because my paternal grandmother, Ethel went to see him. I'm not sure she was successful in getting a reading from him, but she did visit his Institute, the A.R.E. in Virginia Beach and I'm sure she read his many books.

Edgar Cayce ClairvoyantAbout Edgar Cayce: "The "sleeping" Edgar Cayce was a psychic known to thousands of people, in all walks of life, who had cause to be grateful for his help.  Even as a child, on a farm near Hopkinsville, Kentucky, where he was born on March 18, 1877, Edgar Cayce displayed powers of perception which seemed to extend beyond the normal range of the five senses.  At the age of six or seven he told he parents that he was able to see and talk to "visions," sometimes of relatives who had recently died. His parents attributed this to the overactive imagination of a lonely child who had been influenced by the dramatic language of the revival meetings which were popular in that section of the country.  Later, by sleeping with his head on his schoolbooks, he developed some form of photographic memory which helped him advance rapidly in the country school.

When Edgar Cayce died on January 3, 1945, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, he left well over 14,000 documented stenographic records of the telepathic-clairvoyant statements he had given for more than six thousand different people over a period of forty-three years. These documents are referred to as "Readings." ~ excerpted from "Edgar Cayce on Reincarnation: Strange, psychic accounts of people who have lived more than once. Slow down and smell the spiritual theme

Kathy Crabbe, A spiritual theme painting, watercolor on paper It's time to slow down and smell the spiritual theme. Once again I turned to one of the four Sylvia Browne books I had grabbed from my birth mom's deathbed. These were books she had turned to in the last months of her life, and I asked the questions: "What is the truth? What truth is this Lefty painting sharing with me today?" Then I closed my eyes and opened up Sylvia's book Soul's Perfection and out popped the words "A spiritual theme." This helped me a lot at that very moment especially after reading this part:

A spiritual theme means that you will search for spirituality in everything you do...'even though it seems crazy, I'm going to use the silver and white lights. I'm going to use mirrors and encase myself in gold'...That's one of the hardest things to know: when it's time to move on.

My birth mom moved on in May of this year but we  still 'communicate' all the time. Blessed Be.

How To Connect With Your Ancestors (mediumship)

Mugwort by Kathy Crabbe Begin with dreaming.

Choose something dear that belonged to your ancestor or something that reminds you of them.

Bless it (with water or sage) and place it under your pillow at night along with a request for your ancestor to appear in a dream with messages of only the highest, deepest and most blessed good for your soul and for all concerned.

Have a pad of paper and pen by your bed at the ready.

Later, have a cup of tea to induce and jog dream memories.

And if nothing comes to you, blow 3 times on the object placed under your pillow and try everything all over again for the length of one moon (a month).

If you do connect with an ancestor be sure to bless them and the Divine for allowing your ancestor to come through.

And that is ALL.

Psychic Medium & Documentary Film Producer: An Interview with Jamie Best

This month's special guest in the Creative Soul Circle is a good friend of mine,  Jamie Best who is both a psychic-medium and a documentary film  producer.  To speak with Jamie personally, please check out the Circle Soul Circle where you can connect with women-of-like-mind such as Jamie and many more special guests for in-depth conversation. Behind the Scenes

Tell us about your role in making a film.

Originally I was contracted to do writing on the film The Spirits of Bourbon Country. As the project progressed, we found my abilities as a medium came in more handy and my role changed and I actually was in the film sharing my experiences on camera with the many spirits we encountered. We have a small team, so my duties also included lugging around equipment and running a camera from time to time.

What films  have you been involved with so far?

I've been involved in one completed film; The Spirits of Bourbon Country. This film is an in depth look at three of the most famous haunted locations in Bardstown, Kentucky, USA. We delve into the history and film our investigations of the locations. I'm currently involved with a cryptozoolical film in production titled The Spottsville Monster: Kentucky's Bigfoot.

What is your favorite and least favorite part of working on a film?

My favorite part is interviewing the people willing to share their personal experiences with us. I love meeting the people and hearing their stories.

My least favorite part is how long the editing process takes. I'm not too involved in the editing process, so I get impatient waiting for the result of our filming expeditions! I'm always excited to see it put together.

Evidence: You Decide...

What are your future plans in films?

I hope to continue being involved in documentary film making, mostly in the paranormal genre. It's a topic that interests me and is close to home since I've been having these types of experiences since I was a young child. It's fantastic for me to get the stories of these types of experiences out there! And to know (and to let others know) we're not alone having these events occur in our lives.

What is your ultimate dream movie project?

I don't really have a "dream" project. Which ever project is on the table at the time is always the best one I could be doing!

Do you prefer the term 'movies' or 'films'?

I usually refer to them as films because they are documentary style and 100% true and accurate based on the evidence provided to us as a team. Whenever I hear the term "movies", I think more of the entertainment industry. While our films are entertaining, they are also informative.

What originally got you into films?

I have a friend who belongs to a paranormal research team that I belong to who had done documentaries previous to me getting involved. He followed my blog and enjoyed my writing style so asked if I'd be willing to write for his next film. But as I said, my role in the film changed as the project progressed.
