Card No. 1: At night Karya dreams of wings

Mantra: I am magical.

Affirmation: My dreams have wings and so do I!

If this card appears in a reading your dreams are ready to take flight. So make them good dreams, dreams that light you up inside and add roses to your cheeks. Small dreams or big, it's not important, but you do have dreams and it's time to start believing in them by taking that first step towards realization. Let them come alive in your heart, your  soul, your body, your mind. Believe in YOU. You are Divine.

In my own life, dreams have always guided me although it's far from easy to pay attention to them. Often my body knows the truth when my mind does not, so I listen on as many levels as I can because truth can often be subtle.

If this card appears in a reading expect the unexpected! There is a trickster in your midst. Maybe it's you? Not a mean trickster, but a true trickster; one who shifts your reality and helps you see things from a new perspective. Perhaps you've become complacent, or lazy, or overly self satisfied, and are no longer seeing the big picture becuase you're too caught up in small details and worries. This WILL change soon so get ready to open your eyes wide and see the world in a whole new way.

In my own life I do my best to see negative, challenging experiences on a deeper level and I ask questions, such as, "What is the teaching in this? What is being mirrored back to me about myself? What changes need to happen now?"

If this card appears in a reading you ARE in your power. Un-swayed by others, you know what you want. Guided by your own moral compass, intuition and intellect, the path is made easier. There is a fated quality to your decision. This is what you were put here to do.

In my own life there is a lot of second-guessing, so when the above happens and things feel fated I just KNOW I’m on the right track. Often a dream will confirm it. It’s so much easier to move forward with pluck and confidence when this happens. I can only describe it as a bone-deep knowingness; so deep that nothing can touch it because it’s meant to be.

Let Go of Fear: Inspiration for the Taurus New Moon

Each month I share a Lefty Oracle from my self published deck to inspire your Moon Heart Journey into the mysteries. The New Moon is the best time of the month to set your intentions for the moonth ahead. This month the New Moon is in Taurus on May 15, 2018 at 4:48 am, Pacific Time.

Mantra: I strive.
Affirmation: I let go of fear to be here now.
Element: Water

If this card appears in a reading it’s about time you asked yourself who you’re trying so hard to please and why it’s never enough. Instead of seeking approval outside of yourself go within and be your own best friend. You ARE good enough and, in fact you are the best YOU there is and the only YOU that will ever exist.

In my own life this card was inspired by my dad, and that story is a long one indeed. I learned a lot about what not do to in life from him, and for that I am grateful.

Creative Journal Prompt
Do you ever feel like Homer does, “On the verge of greatness?” If ‘yes’ then describe what that means for you and explain what it refers to as well. If not, then describe a feeling of being on the verge of greatness or something similar.

What does greatness look like to you? What meaning does it hold?

Are you on the way to achieving this greatness, and if so, what needs to happen for you to get there and to know greatness?  Try breaking it down into numbered steps within a timeline.

Now, congratulate yourself BIG TIME for your foresight and diligence in acknowledging right now, that even without all this, YOU ARE GREAT just by saying these words:

As we enter this most auspicious time of the year (in the Northern hemisphere) for beginnings - Spring and the first New Moon of the Year (in Aries) I'd love to share with you a short and vibrant New Moon Meditation I channeled just for you along with a Lefty Oracle card.

Begin this New Year in silence. Perhaps beside your altar, or outside in nature.

Allow the Lefty Oracle card of the New Moon to speak to you. (see below)

Ask what you need, right now, from the Universe, the Divine, God/dess.

Ask for a light to shine upon your heart's most hidden desire, right now.

Don't dwell too long in this space, for you have work to do!

Next, I suggest that you write out a one word affirmation to help you connect with your heart's vision anytime/anyplace. Add a special, memory jogging symbol next to this word as well.

To end, thank your guides, the Divine and this Lefty.

Whatever little thing you do, that you think doesn't matter, it does. The magick is in the details. Allow your being to flow into this knowing-ness and rest there a moment...absorb.

Allow all else to fade/flow away until, like a vessel or bottle lost at sea, you are empty, awash, awake, yet dreaming. THIS is the space in-between (a very Piscean space to be). Choice is one of the more challenging words in the English language.
I make choices every second! 
Or do I? 

Am I just doing what’s expected of me, 
or as I’ve been told to do? 

What if choice means that I stand alone against the world? 
What then? 

Each day in every way I choose integrity; 
an open mind, 
self respect, 
and education. 

The choice
is mine.

If this card appears in a reading it’s time to make a choice. Something important needs to be decided upon right now and you need to take the steps necessary to do so. Sometimes our choices can feel pre-ordained or just too difficult to make so we deal with it by burying our head in the sand. If you’ve been procrastinating, now is the time to move forward. This card demands that you make the tough decisions now so that you can move forward in your life. If unsure of what choice is best, take your time to weigh your options, make a pros and cons list or talk to a trusted friend, advisor, the Divine or your higher power. But act now while your options are open.

In my own life this card has a radical quality to it calling for decisive fearlessness. With Aries Rising in my astrological chart I MUST move forward bravely and strike while the iron is hot, so that the momentum of my decision can carry me full steam ahead. I see a choice as an opportunity to do what’s best for me first and foremost because only I know what my needs really are for optimal well-being.

Aquarius New Moon Ritual

You are here.
You are present.
You are awake.

You are 3 in 1.
Maiden/Mother/Crone.

You are earth, air, fire, water and spirit.

You are me and I am you.

Is your heart open to receiving?

No fear,
Just silence.

Be in that silence. Now picture either an angel, goddess, elf, fairy or mermaid guide who has come to help you. Ask them their name and become one with them for an instant, allowing yourself to be in their element: earth, air, fire, water. Allow this element to purify and revive you. Become one with that element and go forth and purify and revitalize your own space, your land, your city, country, world, universe. Extend out as little or as far as you like; knowing that you are safe, guided and protected by your guide and the elements.

When you are ready come back to the here and now and thank your Guide and Mama Moon for your Divine Being-ness. If feeling inspired, now would also be a good time to set your intention for the moonth ahead.
