Dragonfly Style

This painting was shipped to my dear Mom. It sooo reminds me of her especially the BLUES; of water and healing, love and safety. I grew up in Ontario, Canada and we passed bullrushes like this on our way to the cottage where we also spotted mercurial glimpses of many colored dragonflies, often joined in mating; what bliss!

Barn Owl Magick

As Elfin High Priestess she needed a break now and then so she called upon Barn Owl, her ally. With his help she was able to recharge her spiritual batteries, rest her head, and imagine purple, always purple. Purple fantasies lit by starlight and moonlight and all things sparkly. She could be perfectly quiet here trusting that Owl would warn her if necessary. For it was only within this deep, dark  sanctuary of peace and quiet and silence that she could see and hear the visions that guided her deep into the night; shining, magickal, awake yet dreaming.

How to Find Your Place in the World: A Virgo New Moon Blessing

Virgo is all about the small things - the details - often overlooked. This is the energy we'll be attuning ourselves to during the New Moon Meditation and Guided Visualization I've channeled for you today.

New Moon Reading & Guided Visualization

Sometimes I like to paint and photograph rocks really close-up so that the finished piece looks completely abstract. it's easy to dream in these spaces; to get lost in their infinite beauty; the beauty of tiny lichens; pink, green and mermaid aqua.

I invite you now to envision something very small and detailed like a gold leaf rose in a greeting card or a baby's fingertip, or a cat whisker, or the vine-ey pattern of a leaf found on a walk.

Immerse yourself, eyes closed in this tiny, fey world, resting there gently until you too feel a part of that tiny vision encapsulating a whole world in a raindrop.

Firstly I'd like you to identify the element that you are in. For example, the Water Element if you are having a raindrop vision.

Next, envision yourself. Are you tiny too? Are you human, elf, fairy, a color, a feeling, a dancing spark, a firefly?

This is your world; finite yet infinite.

Feel your place in this world.

If this card appears in a reading there is a sense of coming home; a feeling of belonging, complete-ness, rooted-ness. You DO belong. Acknowledge this as you let your roots sink deeper into the ground. Feel yourself gaining strength and power.

In my own life I often struggle to belong, but I find that when I do value and appreciate the good parts in my life it helps. Sometimes living in a place that does not feel like home helps us see what it is we don’t want so that when we do find our true home it’s all the sweeter.

Pisces Full Moon Reading: Honour Yourself

Dear Moon Muser, i don't know about you, but things are finally moving forward again after the last Mercury Retrograde that just ended although Mars is still retrograde until August 27th. For me this Moon feels a bit spacey (so Piscean!) and ME-focused. It's also helped me more clearly see a vision I've been feeling for some time now and to write, write, write. Whether male or female take a moment to honour yourself and recognize all you’ve achieved so far in your life.

In my own personal life I gain daily focus by writing a to-do list every morning after breakfast; a list that actually is do-able so that I can gain much needed satisfaction from checking things off my list.
