How to Get More Soul Reading Clients

As a Soul Reader I have my medium of choice for giving soul readings. I use oracle decks; mainly my own creations for giving readings to others. For myself I will often try out different decks. For this reading today I’m working with the Alchemy Deck by Kim Krans of the Wild Unknown.

As always my spirit guides appear first when I do a soul reading to take me deeper into their realm; the watery realm, under the sea. This is probably because my latest creation is a Mermaid Oracle. Entering this watery realm helps me go as deep as I can into the soul reading.

I am NOT looking at the oracle card yet, I am reading it psychically instead. Later I will look at the card to see if it confirms the information I received from my spirit guides, ancestors and the gods. I go deep within and then I as the initial question again, “How does one get more soul reading clients?”

Then I rest in this deep sacred space for a while until all my senses are attuned to the messages I am about to receive.

The first messages are practical:

1. Do you really want more clients?

2. If yes, how many soul reading clients do you want a week, a month, a year? Be specific.

3. Are you taking practical steps to align your values with your marketing? What are they? Describe in detail.

Now, it gets fun…my guides say, “Okay, I have a secret to tell you and your readers.”

1. Be your own client - envision this.

2. What do you need from your practice to bring YOU fulfillment?

3. Pull another oracle card to look at specifics.

Once you’ve gained all the insights you feel are necessary or that you can absorb at this time then relax. Journal. Then look at the oracle cards you pulled. Take more notes and see how they tie in to the guidance you received psychically. Really ponder the connections happening between the psychic information you received and the images on the cards. Turn to the guidebook if needed.

Now it’s time to sum up the entire soul reading. Write down the word “Summary” and then do just that.

Oracle Deck Review: Creatures of the Moon by Rebecca Schoenecker

Today I’m reviewing the Creatures of the Moon Deck by Rebecca Schoenecker aka Laughing Eye Weeping. Eye. “This double-sided deck brings alive Creature totems, Moon phase divination, storytelling, and ritual. An expansive and varied Oracle deck and book unlike any other!”

To begin I love the FEEL of these cards - velvety firm, thick stock, as they glide through my hands, and the perfect size!

Oracle Card Reading

Card 1: Representing Me in the Reading:

As per usual I look at the cards AFTER the reading to see if they confirm what I get psychically.

This first card helps me orient myself in space and attune with the direction I’m facing which is North representing EARTH.

Earth Power: Feeling of the Earth flowing through me; practical, feelings of making oneself useful, skills, calming.

Answer: Help yourself. So I lie back and relax, letting go of worries.

First Impressions:
Colors bright and symbology alive - I see eyes in wings and New Moon Circle tree limbs and water - 3rd eyes Chakras eveywhere!

I love the juicy, thick Guidebook in full, beautiful, detailed color!

If this card appears in a reading it’s time to look back at the fun parts of your childhood. What memories spark good feelings? Are you able to tap into those feelings in any of your current activities? In other words how do you feed your child self that still wants attention? She or he is a part of your psyche that may need some extra care and attention right now so give yourself some precious time to do just that. Break out the crayons, the bike, the ball, the clarinet, the glitter wand and make some magick happen. Do something that touches your inner child-self and makes her/him feel happy and loved. Like the butterfly wings in this card’s imagery it’s time to fly, transform and awaken yourself perhaps by leaving things behind, or by remembering and loving the old you or by stowing away all parts of you that are no longer needed.

In my own life whenever I sit down to draw or paint I feel as though I’m feeding my inner child and bringing love and joy into my life so I try to do that every day because I usually feel better afterwards (and during!)

Creative Journal Prompt
When you look back at your childhood, what pops out for you as a favorite memory, or two, or three? Why are they your favorite memories? Are you still in touch with that side of yourself and the people or places in those memories? If not, why not? Take one small step today or this week to re-connect with those people or places and write down a plan for this in your journal.

Releasing ANGER in a Healthy Way

As I let my brightness shine I let my anger out too, for to repress emotions is a ticket to ill health. Healthy expression of anger can look like this: letting the fire burn within then releasing it in a mad whirl of passion and color on paper: gouging, scraping, scratching the canvas with knives and sticks - mark making to release. In the background I’ve cranked up LOUD techno music as I dance and whirl and spin the anger out, screaming “FUCK YOUUUUU” til I’m exhausted. Whew, I’ve let it out. it can’t hurt me anymore. Brigid is one of the few early goddesses to survive intact through the Christian era. Brigid means ‘bright one’ as symbolized by fire. When this card appears in a reading it’s time to seriously look at how you might be damaging yourself, your health, your life. Wearing high heels, for example is extremely harmful to your feet and back and will cause pain for you at some point in your life. Are you hurting others or being hurt? Are you vulnerable? Do you need protection and education around protecting yourself, your loved ones, your home, or the natural world around you? This card is simply pointing out the price you are paying for so called ‘beauty’. Is it worth it?

In my own life here in Southern California I look around at all the plastic surgeries and there are A LOT. But what can I do? I can accept me and put myself proudly out there to share my idea of what beauty means at middle age. It’s silver hair, extra weight and wrinkles that add to my beauty, not take away from it. I have survived AND thrived and beauty IS middle aged and wrinkled. So deal with it.
